NO solicitation is permitted from non-exhibiting companies and will result in immediate removal from the Show. The management also reserves the right to refuse a ticket.

Fees & Cancellations

Informa Canada Inc. will appear on your credit card statement.

Entrance to the exhibit hall is $10 before November 11, 2022 at 11:59PM EST. After this date, a $30 non-refundable registration fee applies.

Seminar Tickets will be refunded if cancellation is received in writing by email no later than November 11, 2022 at 11:59PM EST. Refunds are subject to $20 cancellation fee.

No refunds will be given after November 11, 2022 at 11:59PM EST or for on-site ticket purchases. Please email cancellation to informa@microspec.com.

In the event The Buildings Show is unable to run as a face-to-face event, select seminars will be produced as online webinars and no refund will be provided. For any cancelled seminars, a credit will be provided.

Health & Safety

The trade show floor is intended to be a professional Business-to-Business environment and includes live onsite demos, often involving heavy machinery - for safety reasons we highly recommend that children do not attend.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending The Buildings Show, you voluntarily assume all risks related to the exposure to COVID-19 and agree that you will not hold The Buildings Show, Informa Canada Inc. or any of its affiliates, directors, officers, agents or employees liable for any illness, personal injury or death that may result.

Please note that all restrictions and requirements are subject to change at any time to best protect the health and safety of all its audiences in accordance with government guidelines and legal allowances. Please refer to our website often for current guidelines.

Photography & Videography

You may be the subject of still photography or videography which is used by Informa Connect for purposes of promoting future events. By attending, you agree to grant Informa Connect the use of these materials for such purposes.

Please note that videoing speakers and presentations at this event is prohibited – we thank you for your understanding.

In Person Privacy Policy

On choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or sponsor, you are providing the exhibitor or sponsor with personal information and in doing so you agree to the exhibitor or sponsor contacting you in the future about their products or services. You understand that you can opt-out of this contact at any time by contacting the exhibitor or sponsor. Badges cannot be read remotely and must be scanned before any details are shared with exhibitors and sponsors.

If you opt-in to receive communications from sponsors, including sponsored seminars you register for, you agree to the sponsor contacting you by email about their products or services. You understand that you can opt-out of this email contact at any time by unsubscribing from their communications or by notifying the sponsor directly.

You understand that your badge may be scanned on entry/exit to The Buildings Show and used in relation to event safety/security and that the event organizer may use this information in aggregate form to analyze/improve the visitor experience. Scanning at entry/exit is not associated with third party marketing consent choices that you may make.

Virtual Privacy Policy

Informa (and any third-party platform provider acting on our behalf) will use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage virtual events and for analyzing visitor traffic with an effort to improve the event experience for visitors.

During a virtual event, if you accept a connection or meeting invite or interact with sponsored content (e.g. attend live session or demonstration) your full contact details will be shared directly with a sponsor or exhibitor and they may follow-up in line with your indication of interest.
